The NCCCS Virtual Learning Community hosted by Surry Community College, Fayetteville Technical Community College and Wake Technical Community College, and the Technology Solutions Distance Learning Team invite you to the Online Learning Innovations Summit 2023: Achieving Student Success in a Digital World, July 26-28, at Surry Community College. Our speakers include Caroline Sullivan, Executive Director, North Carolina Business Committee for Education, Office of the Governor; Cynthia Liston, NC Workforce Credential Council, myFutureNC, and Preston Roseboro, Regional Impact Manager, Piedmont-Triad Prosperity Zone; and Judith Risch, J.D. Ph.D, Attorney Advisor, District of Columbia Office, Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education.

Our professional development sessions will address the critical role online learning provides to close the gap and accelerate the quality of teaching and learning for NCCCS faculty and students. The workforce gap is real in North Carolina. Increased student enrollment and retention rates are a must to meet the State’s goal of 3,000,000 adults with post-secondary education degrees and credentials by 2030. The North Carolina Community College System is poised to close the workforce gap.
